Living in Tokyo

So hello guys, i wanted to make a post for all you guys who likes to read.

As you know i am living my life longer time captivated by japanese culture. And for me i knew i will go one day there. I didn't know it will happen so fastly, so last year i got Scolarship and i entered Chuo University. I was very happy back there,now i just can't realize still that I am actually living here not just visitning.

So you may ask now: Akira you in Japan?!
I am here yes.

My apartment is in Nagayama so it is kinda country side. Actually when i first got to Nagayama i said "Omg,this is like Zagreb,i am wondering how the center of Tokyo looks like then"
So i could tell it is very amazing to be here,altough i didn't travel trough tokyo a lot. The place where i live is very calm, and i am really thankful to that.

First time when you visit another culture you can experience culture shock but it just depends on person how. First i was sleeping 2 days very bad because of time difference of 7hours. FIrst week i was super tired,but in same time very energetic and excited. Then i couldn't manage with my self why everywhere is so many people,
 Kanji characters are giving me a headache everyday ,so sometimes i dont know what i am buying.
Wifi here is immposible thing, and i hate that thing about Japan the most.
American food like Mcdonalds,KFC,Starbucks are here really expensive. But they provide you wifi

As for living here , their shops arent so expensive,it's kinda same as in Croatia sometimes it is cheaper so i was very surprised. For examples they have bananas for 95yen(u get them 5 i think for that price) which is less than 5kn. I will inform you about food one day.
 But clubbing and going to bars is expensive.
In croatia we always go to coffee bars,but here is that expensive thing to do every day,so until now i sticked only to shops like Seiyuu ,Family mart,Lawson. And i gather with my friends in rooms. We buy six pack beer for 456yen and drink and eat,together.

They have tabehoudai-eat as all you want and it is usually about 2000yen which is kinda expensive if you cant eat so much,but if you can drink i think it is worth the money :D (i am going to do it next week probably )

As for studying in Japan, Chuo University is so big that you cannot imagine . And buildings are so high so sometimes i late to my classes and run into sweaty. And so many students like thousands of them.I am taking Japanese language and Japanese studies literature and culture. In chuo they have so many caffeterias, So in lunch time break which is from 12.30 those things has big lines. They have ATM's also ,and a COOP it is like store where you can buy everything, i mean really everything . from food to beauty products,books , clothes etc.
I think Chuo is functioning like a little city, is better then my place where i live  in croatia.
I don't want to mention the scenery how beautiful it is.

Review:SHINJUKU,HARAJUKU,SHIBUYA

So after 23 days i had visit with my friend KangWon Shinjuku,Harajuku,Shibuya. Thanks to him i had so much fun.Accidentaly, First i saw Kabukicho ( those who are following me from before knows what kabukicho meant to me) It is the Host club heaven. Next time i'll visit it at night so i can truly experience the Kabukicho. Then we went all around and  we unfortunately didnt stop anywhere because we started from home from i think 2pm so it was no time.
We walked all trough Shibuya(we walked until 21h i guess) so we went trough big park where was Meji Jingu so i saw it too. The exit from park leaded to Harajuku bridge. And really guys Harajuku bridge is really small haha. I haven't
seen people i wanted maybe it was too late idk. Then we walked trough according to my friend trough omotesando,which is full of very expensive brand shops as Chanel,Dior etc... We started to feel hungry so we walked trough the streets to find something to eat and in the end we went to Family Mart and bought some dishes and sweets . And finnally we had a quick rest from walking.

I wanted to go to the well known Don Quijote ,but it was in Shibuya and then i begged KangWon to take me there,and he finnaly said OKAY. That was the most great part because we followed the google maps at night,and i think Tokyo at night is very special. I felt so good because it felt like i am visiting a city in Croatian sea coast(but ofcourse so much bigger and better) Tough we thought we are lost sometimes it was very fun that we started that adventure and finnaly we reached Shibuya. First i saw that is so crowdy and i stick to the friend to not lose him somehow in this crowd because i dont have mobile data yet and i really feel i could be completly lost .
,I can't describe how much people is passing there . So many fashionable people i saw. It was Saturday night so i guess people were going to visit clubs. After visiting Donki we went to the biggest crossroad and there i was so happy because really i realized my dream came true. It kinda felt like i am at the top on the world and if i die tommorow i wouldn't regret a thing.  I filmed everything so if you didn't you can check it out. Unfortunately my battery was dead in harajuku ,so :(

Next time i am going to visit Akihabara and Asakusa i hope so .


I am very busy here but i will try to inform you about everything. I know maybe some of you want to go visit tokyo so i hope i can help with those posts i'll post in future.
Many of you want to find the cheapest way ,and i am one of you guys too.

SHORT UPDATE:Japan-MIST-Fashion

Haven't posted in a while .
Recently I joined Mist crew dance cosplay group. And we are together more than 1 year. It's my recent occupation since i've got scolarship to study in Japan . So everything with fashion stopped because I am really distracted and not well concentrated and focused and inspirational toughts cannot reach me . I am not sad beacuse of it ,because i am waiting for experience of my life. This would be very great for enriching my inner self and then I think i can continue with everything i stopped now.
I was thinking of having kind of VLOG there and try to make you to experience Tokyo together. But it is only a thought.

As for past events. Mist crew won first prize in KPOP competition in Zagreb . It was preliminary for the KPOP WORLD FESTIVAL 2015 in South Korea.
I participated 2 times. Solo stage and Group stage. Solo I danced Taemin -Danger under name ACE.  And MIST danced on Danger-BTS,SPEED-Don't tease me, EXO-K-Call me baby. And we won first place.We could dance better than that ,but it 's okay since we didn't have mirrors back then. With the prize we decided to buy us mirrors .It was great investition because now we all dance better. This is photo taken recently ,so you can picture yourself our dancing room.
Now we will have a dance show at Makkon in Ljubljana so we are practicing for it.

Up is video of solo performance from KPOP preliminary for world festival . From weird angle ,but it's the only video now i own.

Before ending this post let's mention Love. Love is always here but i have tell you that romantical love is rare . But maybeeeee I felt romantic love again .  (haha). However i feel very good and energized .:

Ljubica Dolašević

Kolekcija je inspirisana romantičnim japanskim odevnim stilovima mori girl, otome kei i lolita modom, buđenjem prirode, bajkovitim krajolicima i magičnim stvorenjima. U kreacijama prevladavaju prirodne boje, pretežno bež i bela, te slojevitost, asimetrija i spontanost, motivi biljaka i životinja kao što su rascvetane grane, ruže, ptice i bubamare. Najveći deo kolekcije stvoren je na reciklažnom i štedljivom principu, tako da su korišćene zavese i tkanine sekond hend porekla i restlovi materijala."

So i am very excited for further fashion shows where i will present my works ,i've waited for it ,and now i think i am ready finally !!

I am a student of Fashion Design and im ending IV.semester. Last year  i decided to create something with my hands and sewing machine's so i got hooked up in that adventure and by my own i started to create something that is filling my life with joy(and stress sometimes haha) . It doesn't matter for me to be perfect in the start,now it's important to focus more on exploring  and getting the right conclusions by yourself. Many times i failed,but nothing should bring us down !

As for inspiration----

My big inspiration in all things that I do is Asia ,Japan most of all. So my designs are inspired by various subcultures of Japan as Visual kei,Gyaru-o ,Host, Avant-garde looks inspired by Japanese fashion circles (Yohji Yamamoto) and Korean K-pop fashion is also very inspirational to me !

Term "GENDER CHAOS"?
I would say i do menswear but  -let's say- barrier and meaning of men in Asia and men in western country's is very radical and poor,so that confusion made me say; "Oh that chaos,is it male or female?"
So people who are not keeping up  with Japanese styles are not quite aware that Boys from Japan can be quite androgynous and wear more feminine looks that are unusual for image of boys in western cultures.

Akira "NEW" Revolver

Hi guys!

I will present to you,my very first cloth creations ! ... I'm studying fashion so yeah,i do some designs and turning them into reality.(it's the most orgazmic moment for me haha)


Model is myself for now. Because the first thing in my mind is visualizing myself in those clothes ("how it would look on myself?") otherwise if you as designer wouldnt want to wear your own design,surely others wont either!

Yesterday i ve finished new thing.

 Im working on new stuff ! I have tons of new material so i 'll put it here

Belgrade/Novi Sad post

JAPANIZAM 2013 IN BELGRADE was really awesome !

Organization and volounteers were amazing,Sakurabana Belgrade made a great job and turned it into a real thing ! (Svi koji su susjedne države sa Srbijom ,sljedeće godine neka obavezno posjete !!Toplo preporučam!)
I'm thinking about my new cosplay for next year already ha-ha . Cloud /FinalFantasy :P

So yeah,im looking forward !! ^^
Lately im in a very good mood ,so trip to Belgrade/Novi Sad was really refreshing 4 me,made a party,participated a cosplay competition,met so much great people out there ! (Thank you everybody!!! <3 ) And now im back in Zagreb so im finnaly writing a new post here .


FIRST OF ALL after a long ride ,me & MIKA " landed "in Serbia/Belgrade,and had a nice surprise ^^ i love you Yuuki,here is your transparent <3

Then we went to 101A concert,japanese band.

And in beetween we just hang out with friends,drinking&drinking&sleeping and just having fun :D (we forgot to eat how great it was haha)



It were so much people and it was really exciting to see that Balkan can gather so many fans of Japan!Now i will show you the most exciting part of JAPANIZAM - COSPLAY
